Illuminate Your Power: Full Moon Flow

Breathing Room Yoga Center

Tuesday April 23rd 6:30pm-8pm

In this specialty class, we will gather on the Full Moon for a magical and unique evening of power vinyasa paired with group introspection, intention setting and energetic clearing. For thousands of years, humans have been in awe of the celestial bodies and our moon has become a symbol of the cyclical nature of our lives. The full moon has represented a phase of completion, intense energy, inner wildness and release. Join us for this candle-lit power flow and connect to your inner most desires and shed that which is no longer needed. Bring your favorite crystal or altar item, a writing implement, your journal/notebook and an open heart.

Tarot Community Potluck & Swap
Breathing Room Yoga Center

Join us for a community potluck event facilitated by Thema, Haley and Kristin. Bring a dish to share, your favorite tarot decks and an open heart. This event is meant to introduce community members to tarot, create space to chat about tarot, and an opportunity to have a reading done with tarot reader, Reiki master healer and One Village Healing's co-founder, Thema Haida. If you're a regularly practicing tarot reader and have some decks that you no longer use, bring them along for a chance to swap and leave with one you connect with better.

Collective Care

100% of our donations went to Sewa International which will fund oxygen concentrators, ventilators and other emergency medical equipment. India needs our support as the country navigates this time of great challenge and with this humble offering of collective care, we honor and respect the roots of our practices.

Sewa International is a 501(c)(3) Hindu faith-based non-profit organization founded in India 1989 and the US in 2003 that specializes in disaster relief and rehab, community development, family services and education. Yoga for Melanin

While we both continue to humbly (un)learn, reflect, and listen, Giselle and I acknowledge that it is absolutely necessary for us to consistently support our BIPOC folx going forward in our careers through a few of the many lanes of dismantling white supremacy. We know that this work is in constant motion and evolution (and does not stop here), but we recently shared a project we diligently worked mindfully on. Meet Satya Yoga Cooperative & One Village Healing. These amazing organizations are BIPOC-owned & are built on the foundation of creating healing spaces, gatherings, and programs specifically by and for BIPOC. Giselle & I felt strongly that we hold space to uplift organizations that share our passion for wellness, self-growth, and transformation. Help spread the work of our BIPOC friends as we weave stronger connections! Learn more about these organizations below!

Our event accumulated over $900 in donations. We cannot thank our friends, family and students enough for your support in showing up for our BIPOC communities. Togetherness is something we deeply need to be reminded of in the present moment. Let us all keep speaking up, speaking out, and putting our energy into connecting with each other. Do the uncomfortable work, show up with humble compassion & keep going.
